For those of you who don't get information any other way, for Kelli's far-flung friends, I wanted to give you all an update. Sorry information has been so spotty or rather non-existent. I think I have been avoiding news that none of us want to face.
Kelli's long journey is coming to an end. Her condition is quickly deteriorating, but she is being kept comfortable with the help of her parents in her parents' home, and Hospice care staff. She is sleeping most of the time and is having a hard time communicating with others. Many local friends have visited her in the last couple weeks. She is surrounded with flowers, cards, photos and origami birds. Her bed is in a large sun-drenched room where she can see the lovely nature outside.
She has given this battle everything she had. Please keep her and her family in your thoughts and prayers.
So if anyone is still reading this blog, thank you for you devotion and caring for Kelli.

One of Kelli's online artsy friends did and interview and photo spread about Kelli's polymer clay beads. I thought it would be of interest so check out the above link. There are great pictures of her work. These are the handmade beads that are appearing on the lovely bracelets made at Studio 34.

The following is a comment posted by Marilynn, Owner of STUDIO 34,
Volunteers continue to make jewelry with Kelli's beads. We have also recently received a wonderful donation of hand crafted glass bead jewelry made locally by Renee Evans, with pink themes.
Kelli, or someone, needs to set prices on these lovelies, because people want to buy them before we even get a chance to ship them off to Kelli. Three bracelets went to one woman!
In December, Studio 34's annual holiday open house and sale...... volunteers from this group are needed to sell Kelli's jewelry. The open house is December 5 and 6. Great fun and lots of customers.
Let's look at other possible venues.

Jewelry Sale
Dan, Amy Schwert and Liz Rich headed up the jewelry sale at the public market. Kelli got up at perhaps a record time to secure a table at 5:30 am. Unfortunately only a net profit of $9 was made after paying for the spot and supplies to display the jewelry. They were stuck in a corner where they were hidden, but other jewelry opportunities appear to be in the future. Again, a huge thanks to AMY, DAN and LIZ for sticking out the day at the Public Market.
Thanks to Mary Gregg for heading up the garage sale. Many hours were spent with her collecting donations, and organizing. Just over $300 was raised. Again, Amy and Dan Schwert helped out on both days. Mary's family, and myself were able to volunteer some time as well.
Liz is working diligently on the roof. Any leads or ideas should be forwarded to her. lizrich@rochester.rr.com
IMPORTANT: Any questions regarding fundraisers or website, ANY concerns, questions, comments, PLEASE direct only to Julie Weller, Mary Gregg, or Liz Rich. jweller2@rochester.rr.com or vmgregg@bluefrog.com lizrich@rochester.rr.com Please do not direct such questions or comments (no matter how seemingly innocent) to Kelli. This fundraiser is being done on her behalf. We do not wish her to have to seek out information or cause the slightest amount of stress as this is to benefit her at an already stressful time. Sincere THANK YOU. Julie Weller
More thank you's to come. Waiting on details.
