This site represents a grassroots effort to care for our friend Kelli Schwert, a survivor and continuing battler of stage IV breast cancer. We are here to care for Kelli in heart, mind, spirit, and in her day-to-day challenges. Kelli is so many things, an artist, a friend to countless, a devoted mother to her fur babies (kitties). In addition, Kelli is a dynamic occupational therapist. Throughout the entirety of her career and even to this day, she has fought to continue to give her amazing devotion and creative energy to children with special needs. NOW it is time to support Kelli and her "special needs”. This disease is stealing the time she can devote to the career she loves. This has begun to strain her financial independence. Medical co-pays, vet bills and daily needs are not thoughts on which we want Kelli to meditate. Peace, Hope, the ability to care for her beloved fur babies, and the basic creature comforts that we all value are the goals in sight.
This site is intended as a portal of information, contact for events, and efforts to support Kelli both financially and emotionally through this fight of her life. Please visit often as fundraising efforts, card campaigns, and needs for assistance will be announced here. Feel free to contact us through this site with ideas, questions and notes of encouragement.

I would just like to say a brief but very heartfelt THANK YOU to Karin and Julie for getting this all organized and getting the website moving. Whenever I am feeling lonely all I need to do is go to this page and be reminded how much my friends and family care. You guys are the best! I LOVE YOU! Love, Kelli

Volunteers continue to make jewelry with Kelli's beads. We have also recently received a wonderful donation of hand crafted glass bead jewelry made locally by Renee Evans, with pink themes.
Kelli, or someone, needs to set prices on these lovelies, because people want to buy them before we even get a chance to ship them off to Kelli. Three bracelets went to one woman!
In December, Studio 34's annual holiday open house and sale...... volunteers from this group are needed to sell Kelli's jewelry. The open house is December 5 and 6. Great fun and lots of customers.
Let's look at other possible venues.
