Below is text form several emails from Julie Weller to an extensive email list. The idea is to have people attend the following (and perhaps future) jewelry making workshops for both beginners and experienced beaders, those pieces will then be donated towards a sale of the jewelry that will take place at the Rochester Public Market.
We need to centralize communications here on this blog as there are too many e-mails flying around and people who are out of town are getting too many e-mails that involve local events jamming up their in-boxes.
Please, subscribe to this blog in your feed reader. Don't have a feed reader? Learn about it and get a feed reader here. Here is some more great information (with links to a tutorial) about RSS and Feed Readers if you are feeling a little lost right now. Also, you may contact us, Karin or Julie, through the "comments" link at the end of each post. I will also be setting up a "contact us" button in the next couple days. Stay connected, Kelli needs you!
Hello all,
I am writing about a jewelry workshop I would like to coordinate for next Sunday, JULY 27 1 PM. However, we need a few people who can teach to come, as Marilynn and her staff will be teaching classes at that time. We have capacity at this time for 16 people total. So, please RSVP to my e-mail address and tell me if you are a first-timer or can help us beginners out.
Hi, I should have mentioned that Marilynn feels confident that some from the
first group would be competent to teach. Also, Marilynn and Barbara would be
able to teach a class from 1-3 on Friday, the 25th to get beginners ready to
"teach" on the 27th. (I can't attend this) So, I need help getting
teachers.
We have enough teachers. 1 attending the workshop on Friday, so others can join that if they like. Let me know so I can pass it on to Marilynn. Here are the directions from Marilynn to Studio 34. Please continue to RSVP. We have about 4 so far. Room for 12 more.
Take care - Julie

ok, I'll break the ice with comments. :) YAY Karin!! The official Launching of the Website!!! Ok, for Jewelry on 27th, we have Kelli, Lynn, Karen, Sharon, Linda, Sherri, and Me for the 27th. Lynn is going on Friday as well. :) We still have room for 8 more. Sign up on here as a comment, or e-mail me. :) Julie

I thought it would probably be okay to tell others, so I have!
Is it okay, then, to give people contact information or this blog?

Our bead fest was so much fun last weekend! (Thank you Marilynne for opening up your great studio!) I'm just hoping that we can get together again soon. Are there any dates set up yet?

Wow!
Those bracelets turned out great. And the matching earrings Kelli made ... I already have orders here for more of her jewelry.
SOME of us fought the urge to eat Kelli's sweet little beads. COME join us and see what the fun is all about. Beginners welcome! We'll show you how to create beautiful jewelry.

Three Kelli bracelets were sold today, to one person!
If you are unable to make it to the jewelry making workshops, but want to help, call me.
There are other things you can do .
For example, someone needs to pick up the completed jewelry and make sure it gets to Kelli before the garage sale and the Public Market sale. Jewelry needs to be priced and tagged .
